Surely, by the time this case reached trial, the police would have established this as an aspect of the defendant's motive(s) for killing her, by examining phone records and any other data that would support prosecution.
They may have been. I don’t know. I was replying to the harsh condemnation by the poster. Apparently he leads a perfect life and anything less deserves the death penalty...he could be a muslim for all I know though. They believe in the death penalty for everything.
