Huh, I looked at the limerick before your post. (sigh) Today is my busy day, I am helping my neighbor with his feeding tube every two hours all day. I have no idea how his wife does this every two hours of every day. She is gone for two days and I will be so glad when their daughter gets there tonight to take over. LOL I am such a wimp. The wife has an overnight trip to Boston with her grandson. She has been looking forward to this forever.

“The Catholic Church has every right to express its views from the pulpit but it is completely inappropriate to enlist young people as the couriers of its prejudice. ...but it's only right for ME to pervert their little minds to my perversions.

Liberals will be insufferable today and for awhile - even more than usual - with their big wins in the SC. So did Roberts betray us again?

I am in hiding for the day. LOL Refuse to even think what Roberts did, I might want to curse him and I refuse to succumb. Just got back from daily mass, much better use of my time today.

The politics of an aftermath of the opposite SCOTUS ruling would have been brutal.

That’s the bright side. We don’t have to spend the next few weeks getting hounded by the media before capitulating and legalizing the subsidies with clean legislation with no strings attached.

That is true - no way the Republicans would have allowed it to completely disappear. I have no doubt at all that gay marriage will be legalized everywhere and since Texas has NOT supported it the locals will be rolling around in the streets laughing and prancing.

It appears to me that Justice John Roberts gets the award as the makebate of the day!

Liberals are now so deranged
Shouting what doesn’t matter
Like some kid throwing dishes
Just to see how many shatter

They must be having a contest
To decide who best qualifies
As the primary makebate mascot
Master of obfuscation and lies

So far Hillary is ahead of all
In those e-mail scandal stews
She believes it is her right-
After all she paid her dues...

I’ve got to go and do an estimate-back later...

Whoa. I have actually been present while one seer had his apparition. ...I must say, I had the same message come to me as he later shared. It was an interesting experience.

CJ Roberts just did that today.

“Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them,” Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote for a united six-justice majority..

In that sentence, Roberts punts back Former Justice Marshall's over arching standard of Judicial Review.

Or at least...starts a debate that has been long overdue.

NO!!!! Roberts deferred to the will of Congress, and hence the people.

Elect another Congress, and over turn it..

What Roberts did today, was stick a pin in the premise of Judicial Review.

That’s a good thing.

Especially since the liberal wing of the court endorsed it...

Chief Makebate Roberts dropped all pretense of being an originalist, textualist, or strict constructionist or even having any respect at all for what the clearly written words in the law actually say.

BREAKING: Healthcare subsidies upheld by SCOTUS

In writing the majority opinion, he essentially contradicts what he wrote in the majority opinion in 2012 that upheld the individual mandates.
