C’mon, you’re avoiding the key question here.
Of course, voting over 30 years for imperfect candidates hasn’t helped things at all.
But if all conservatives did as you did (sit out elections because you have the choice between a RINO and an evil Marxist), the past 30 years would have been 100% worse than it is even now. Get it?
The real question you need to ask yourself is do you want someone who is 100% evil (Obama) or someone who doesn’t have the exact values you want, but has a lot of them where it counts (e.g. free market capitalism and strong foreign policy). You cannot argue that Romney didn’t have a strong kick-ass economic policy.
The debate is clearly over whether the world would be in such disarray if Romney was president and not Obama. Obama takes the cake.
