Consider all the abstract, universal and unchanging metaphysical concepts that you yourself presuppose that are based on faith, not events (or 'facts') or anything else in your finite observation or experience. For example, you believe that there is sense, and it's opposite, nonsense. You have faith that there exists things such as 'evidence", and "meaning", etc., all of which presuppose things such as truth, and universal, unchanging laws of logic, which existed before you were here and will exist after you are gone.
What is your actual evidence for these beliefs?
It probably was not your intent but you have demonstrated that faith is itself the evidence of things unseen, so it doesn't make much sense for you to try to make it diametrically opposed to evidence.

Like the far-left what they believe changes by the day and the whim of their leash-holders. Nothing the left believes is true.
Evidence is called for, but nobody really lives or thinks according to what some called “evidence”.
