Yeah mcgregor does seem to have a lot to lose here, but I have to give it to the dude, even though I don’t particularly like him, and I certainly don’t agree with him politically, he puts his money where his mouth is, so I have to respect that.
If he was going against Edgar, I would pick Edgar and root against him, though I think it would be a hard fight for him.
As far as Lawler goes, I’ll be going for him, ‘cuz geez I love that dude.

I had seen a bit of hype recently, I can’t recall where it was, but basically it was UFC promoting this upcoming aldo/ mcg fight, and aldo said something along the lines of anyone who thinks they can take my belt will find out that I’m not going to let them take it.
Maybe I’m reading too much into that, but yeah, this is looking really suspicious.

Yeah, he’s injury prone. Doesn’t fight nearly enough.
He last fought in October (Mendes!) and they made this fight with McGreg at the end of Jan, so many months in advance, and he gets hurt, again.
