President Reagan famously said that we were merely a Generation away from losing our Freedoms. A Wiser Man I will never meet. I only wish I'd been wise enough, and mature enough, to have heeded those words when he said them.
Frankly, I was so tuned in to my immediate situation, I'm sure I never heard them. I just knew that for some strange reason, everything around me was improving under Reagan's leadership.
Hindsight sure is 20/20, isn't it?

in chaos and disorder, Texans will be inclined to be pioneer like and set about restoring order, making things work, cooperating with fellow Texans, and not tolerating the rise of dangerous predators. Having lived here as long as I have, I've come to know that for a fact.

May I suggest to all of the patriots who feel overwhelmed and discouraged and have the flexibility and motivation to be looking at other countries as an option:
There is nothing wrong with being welcome somewhere else in the world as a safety net. But if you had not been put here to fight this battle at our side, you would not be feeling so strongly about what is happening to this once-great nation. We will need you to prevail.
So go ahead, take a few months, check out an overseas second hometown, make some interesting new friends.
But remember who you are and why you’re here.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns.... We are all just about right where you are. Thanks, Antceecee. One thing we all need to become cognizant of, is just how much absolute power we hold, as a group. Were we to all stand as one at this moment, the nightmare would be over tomorrow.

It is a brief time to watch and wait, but we do need to right this course very soon. Liberty will out, but what will we have to go through to get there? I fear there may a be a great 'discomfort' coming, but as you say, Liberty will out. Who knows what forms that discomfort will take?
Our forebears could probably shed a bit of light on such things, but I think they'd also say, "It'll be worth it, kid."

Ronald Reagan was the best, I really felt good under him, I remember in the early 1980’s my German teacher showed us pictures he took when he had the class go over to Europe in 1979. They went to East Germany where they talked to people but some were afraid and they showed it when talking to Americans. He made a good point, like Reagan did, where we could be in danger of losing our freedoms if we are not vigilant enough. Sad to say he passed in 1993 but I think his fears have been realized.

I will trust the Lord to give you a few moments to read this worthy piece as you prepare. Thanks for the tip, Caww. I'm going to read it tomorrow, when I'm wide awake and functioning on all cylinders. Much appreciated.

Can't disagree with a thing you've said Flier.
We all know it is unraveling, but I didn't see it happening at this speed.
There is almost a surreal aspect to it for me.
It is hard for me to wrap my mind around what appears to be the near total corruption of all branches of our present government, judicial, legislative and executive.

If I win the powerball for a huge amount of money, I'd find a ghost town somewhere and look for libertarians and conservatives who are sick of all of this to come and live there.Ping me! ;)

...”looking at other countries as an option”...
I thought about that a while back.....but where would you really go as this trajectory is going on everywhere now. Might better head toward the hills as I see it...or some remote place right here in the states. There's plenty of small towns throughout my state and others that would accommodate “like minds”...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Windflier. I think a lot of us are having similar feelings. My family and I live in California, but I’m a native Texan, and I’m starting to wonder if we shouldn’t move back now rather than waiting until retirement.
I feel very socially isolated here in California. Just tonight, I skipped a monthly games night, held at a friend’s house, that I usually go to, because I knew I couldn’t hear all their crowing about “gay pride” without wanting to take someone’s head off. And I’m sick to death of hearing casual references to “evil Republicans” among acquaintances here. It’s very wearing.

Wind flier and Nowhereman..I am right there with you and, in my heart, I think most of America is. This revolution we are in is powered by a rich, elite, corrupt and immoral media who fancy dictatorship with them minding the store. All of this is based on lies fed to a nation which has been totally dumbed down through a brainwashing education system. Those who know about how our government was supposed to function have watched the corruption of it for about 25 years now. I have asked myself many times if all of our leaders are on cocaine. Do they not know they, too, will reap the whirlwind they have provoked? Are they so titillated at the thought of Christians in exile that their frontal lobes have stopped working? I know one thing. The fear in this population is palpable. At some point the line will be drawn and there will be no turning back from whatever happens then.
