yes, I agree, not sure it's so good. I have been profoundly depressed by the events of last week. Father Tran at St James gave a great sermon at Sat AM mass on the decision, saying that the Sup Ct is made up of humans, humans make mistakes, they made a mistake in the gay marriage case just as they did in Roe, God gave us marriage between a man and a woman, and God does not make mistakes. Fr Etsio did not reference gay marriage yesterday, but cited approvingly Laudato Si.
Father DeCelles homily was posted and he addressed the Pope's encyclical as he promised he would, I guess we have to wait until next weekend for his take on the gay marriage stuff.
Justices Kagan and Ginsburg did NOT “make a mistake”. The did not recuse themselves, desire having presided over same-sex “weddings”!
