It only took me 30 YEARS before I finally listened to my military friends and did it, to learn that.How long will it take you to figure out that everybody else is not you, what they use a computer for is not necessarily what you use a computer for, and that running out and buying an Apple is not going to get him one bit closer to getting the data on that backup restored?

And if he canNOT get his data back, if it's lost FOREVER, then he'll have to start all over.
WINDOWS is terribly expensive to keep up to date, and even more expensive to keep virus free.
It's damn near IMPOSSIBLE !
