Troll?

False flag waiving poseur?

Most likely, and a clumsy one at that.

He concludes his piece (if he indeed wrote it himself) with...

Rather than being our American birthright, gun ownership should be a privilege earned after thorough examination and training, like driving a car. But in 21st-century America, arms-bearing is an inalienable right, thanks to 27 anachronistic words of a constitution ratified in an 18th-century world of slow-loading muskets.

Of course, if gun ownership were an earned privilege, ownership as we know it would quickly be forbidden.

I wonder if he would agree with the following statement:

Rather than being our American birthright, freedom of speech and the press should be a privilege earned after thorough examination and training, like driving a car. But in 21st-century America, spouting one's ideas and thoughts is an inalienable right, thanks to 46 anachronistic words of a constitution ratified in an 18th-century world of slow-loading manual printing presses.

Driving should be a right, like gun ownership, not a privilege that is parceled out by government, and strictly regulated. That which is regulated can be taken away easily.
