I'm going to throw the BS flag on many of the comments here. Not having children does not mean you've had an abortion, that you have a guilty conscience or that you are the spawn of satan. Many people (my wife of 22 years and myself included) simply have no desire/interest/motivation/calling to have children. Rather than be indifferent parents, we chose a different path in life, as is our right.

Having children or not is a deeply personal decision. I don't mock out my friends who have kids (nor my three siblings and my wife's brother, all of whom have kids) by calling them breeders or any other derogatory name. By the same standards, I won't tolerate fundamentalist tripe (be it Muslim or Christian) telling me what to do, based on a book that half the world doesn't believe in.

I think the best thing for people that do not want children can do, is not have them. To really do parenting right is demanding, and requires long committment. I do not think evrry single person needs to have kids. Half assing it is the reason we have problems with feral youths in urban areas right now.

The childfree movement does exactly what you say that you do not. It does mock those who have children and does celebrate abortion and homosexuality.

I don’t believe anyone here is grouping everyone without children in with the childfree movement. These are not people concerned about personal choices, but a liberal group with an agenda. Their agenda is Zero Population Growth (ZPG). Such aims are not in any way compatible with conservatism or freedom, regardless of one’s faith.
