A man in his mid-20s was fatally shot late Saturday night in Dorchester, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said in an interview.
At 10:50 p.m. on Holborn Street, a car was seen firing shots before it fled, Evans told reporters on the scene. The man, whose name was not released, died at the scene. A second man had his arm grazed, Evans said, and he was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

I suppose the mentality of the yoots, the broken homes, the liberal-infused dependence on government, the lack of respect for human life, etc., has nothing to do with it. Guns are doing it as some sort of combined effort.

Wow. An evil car was seen firing shots, presumably with an evil gun. Apparently no human was involved in committing this crime. Just evil things that need to be BANNED! /libthink

No, those ‘yutes’ are killing other ‘yutes’ - guns just make it easier.

Events like this render “Black Lives Matter” a debatable proposition.

The car wasn’t evil. Calling the car “evil” is blaming the victim. The car was simply “plagued by violence.”

Guns are killing too many young people in the area, [The police commissioner] said, and community members must take action to reduce gun violence. I guess it is too much to ask of the police that they actually do something to rein in the gang members who are doing the killing. And I'm pretty sure the same police would ruthlessly prosecute any local resident "taking action" to protect themselves against the criminals in their midst.
To: ConservativeStatement
I think a neutral statement needs to be included in the police reports about such shootings, if applicable.
“Gang involvement suspected”.
Importantly, this doesn’t say that either the victim, or the shooter, were gang members, if the police are asked, only that they suspect that *in some way*, one or more gangs were involved in the shooting.
This clarifies an old debate, whether it is the guns that are the problem, or the gangs. So instead of trying to remove “guns from the street”, the police can instead direct their efforts to gang busting.

For all of England and Wales combined (pop. 60mil), the number annually is around 60. That's under the tally in two months just for the city of Chicago (pop 2.7mil).
Someone has an agenda in mind that has nothing to do with safety.

"Guns are killing too many young people..."
But dem legs! How can anyone outrun those evil self-shooting guns!?

I guess blacks would be happier if they killed other blacks with something other than a gun, maybe knives, or bats, or sharp sticks?
