I've been a political junkie since I was 16 years old, but, I have never heard a political speech like Donald Trump's speech today in Phoenix, AZ.
I'd like to hear from some FReepers as to what was the one or two things in the speech that stood out, the most, to you? My two would be:
#1. Five (5) Sanctuary Cities in Florida during Jeb Bush's time as Governor.
#2. Why would America elect a woman who was the worst Sec. of State in the history of our nation, to the Office of President of the United States?
I wish I could remember the word(s) he used to diss Al Sharpton.
The 5 Florida sanctuary cities also delivered a blow to Marco who was Assembly Speaker .

Trump understands that our voices are being ignored by the corrupt politicians, who I’m convinced, are there just to pad their own pockets and have power over us. This new Republican Congress has proven that.

It has been going on for decades. Under Obama it has got even worse. The Rule of Law means nothing.
Oh and he made a pretty good point by providing insight into what went down with Univision, Macys, NASCAR, NBC etc....It all made the point that in the language of Maggie Thatcher, “he’s not one for changing”. It was about this time that he also went after the media and the fact that they clipped his quote about “America going down the tubes”... where they didn’t add the bit that followed “But I’m going to make it great again.” (not exact quote). Not sure if he actually said it but he came awfully close to suggesting that “the media are all a bunch of liars.” The not so subtle hint was that “if you screw me over with fraudulent reporting like that, I have the resources to make you pay so you better be prepared.”
Exactly what needs to be done.
Rebuilding our Military until all the world is afraid of us once more...........Reagan is back.
Actually there are 7 Florida counties that provide sanctuary to illegals. Much bigger than just 5 cities.
What is up with the Pacific Northwest??? Are these the wackadoodles that moved up there from California?

Trump’s lack of political “experience” is refreshing...he is us...he is every man and woman....speaks like we think. Not worried with Trump at the helm. He knows the players and how to play them to the fullest advantage to the United States.
I don't think it can get more absurd than that.
I'm still not a Donald guy... but he's pushing me a little. I take into consideration it's difficult to stand at a podium ant trash talk deadbeat politicians for an hour without stumbling (and without script). I thought his guest speaker (talking about his son) was a disaster. He got sidetracked and totally lost the message.
Sick. Wonder if Trump is going to call out all the governors in the race on this. Wisconsin and New Jersey also have a problem with sanctuary cities and counties.
I am shocked that Michigan has no sanctuary cities - Detroit/Dearborn should count as a Muslim sanctuary. What do you have to do to earn your star on the map?
