It’s what they are and what they do
I read some time ago that the national television news got their stories and opinions from the New York Times. The networks tend to do the same stories and of course they have the same views.
This reminds me of what American Communists used to do. They would read PRAVDA everyday and they would know what to think from day to day. When Stalin was with Hitler they thought Hitler was Okay, when Stalin turned against Hitler all the American Communists turned on a dime and were instantly against Hitler. Very Orwellian.
