Ventura got himself in trouble by embellishing his military record. People got admonished by looking into and criticizing his military record and claims. The thing is, Jesse couldn't shut up about it! He burned his own bridges. His goofy conspiracy stuff and 9/11-truther garbage were the end of him and he only exists on YouTube now. I think Jesse has a progressive mental condition.
Appreciate additional information about McCain ‘ s problematic military performance and conduct.
However, I’m compelled to point out that Veteranstoday.com is a very anti-Semitic leftist sympathizing news site.
Their unabashed boogey-man anti-zionist articles kill credibility for me.
Hair raises on the back of my neck whenever I hear or read of “it’s the Joos fault” scapegoating.
Well, leave it to Trump to open up a dialog about the others side of McCain that people didn’t want to mention openly.
“Must be nice to have a daddy that’s a 4-star.”

That’s how McInsane got into the Naval Academy.
McCain, Rubio, Cruz, Graham, Paul are all Senators that voted to give Iran the Nuclear bomb. They voted to change the treaty ratification process (unconstitutionally) and give Obama (a known islamic sympathizer) “pre-ratification” of his “deal” with Iran before the deal was even negotiated.
As such, none of these men are qualified to be President. They can complain all they want about the Iran “deal” but they fundamentally do not understand their obligation to the country. As such, they have made nuclear war all but certain in the Middle East, and even perhaps an attack on the US certain.
This is a big deal. So big it cannot be ignored.
McCain is a lot of things, but an honorable man and a competent Senator are not among them, in my opinion.
None of these men are fit to be president - for they have lit the fuse on the greatest global disaster on the planet - a nuclear armed Iran. They could have stopped it, but they directly, and with malice aforethought declined to do so - under normal processes outlined under our Constitution.
Say what you will about Trump - but all of these Senators are a disgrace to America.
Howizzit this vicious fraud has perpetrated an image of heroism and leadership when he is imbued with neither? I firmly believe he was blackmailed by the VC into viciously opposing the release of any information about POWs in Vietnam after the war.
McCain has been the sworn enemy of veterans since Vietnam. He is a foul, evil, demonic creature. Trump was far too gentle on McCain.
I recall seeing a video on the Forrestal disaster years ago, and knew a guy who was on the ship when this happened. Both indicated the missile came off McCain's plane, and attributed it (officially) to 'an electrical fault'.
I'll see what I can find.
“If anyone deserves an apology its the people of Arizona, particularly the Veterans there, whom he has represented so poorly.”
Sorry, the people of Arizona need to apologize to the rest of us for sending such a backstabbing, prima donna RINO to washington.
I am not a fan of McCain’s activities in the Senate.
However, GWB he flew jets. Unlike GWB he flew them off and onto carriers. I don’t care who you are, that takes balls and it takes brains.
He flew in combate and got shot down. He was injured and tortured.
Now on all of FR there are a handful of people who can personally attest to having been through all of those things. Probably three or four at best.
They have the right to criticize those facts about McCain. The rest of you, including Trump should STFU.
Criticize him about all the others stuff he’s done. But he gets a pass up to that point.
My bad. All I can locate indicates Mc Cain’s plane was one of those involved in the fire, but that the rocket came from another aircraft. Still digging...
You are so right... being insulted is one of the most politically correct responses, sarcasm does have a tendency to rapidly bring it out of those so easily offended as they are continually indoctrinated into the PC mindset.
No it was not his plane that fired the missile. It was him doing a wet start in his A-4 for fun. A wet start is totally against all rules on the flight deck. But as big John was a HOTDOG pilot he wanted to see how big of a fireball he could make. Only problem was the covers were off the missiles on the plane behind him. When your on deck these damned things would follow the heat of your body. This is why the covers are taken off just before take off.

I’m not quite buying that. The weapon that started the whole thing was an unguided Zuni rocket.
It was a rocket fired by an F-4. The official story is that it fired because of a power surge during switch-over from external power to internal. The incident is on video and was publicly released, so I’m kinda doubting that we’d find some revelation of it being McCain’s fault after 50 years.
Lighten up, Francis. People THAT SERVED WITH HIM and FELLOW POWs have big problems about things he’s said and done. I don’t care if you like it or not.
Ooooh. Was that you? No.
You’re out of line. Your “STFU” post is like me, as an aerospace engineer who works with aircraft, admonishing people that unless they work with aircraft on a daily basis, they have no business posting about aircraft and should just SHUT UP about it. Is it sinking in yet that your post is asinine?
Yep. That is what I had found, too. The missile came from another aircraft, not McCain’s.
