Navy pilot John Sidney McCain III should have never been allowed to graduate from the U.S. Navy flight school. He was a below average student and a lousy pilot.

A truly lousy Senator as well.
I'll take Eggheads Who Wear Their Military Service On Their Sleeve for $200, Alex.
Trump right about Hanoi John McCain

Must be nice to have a daddy that's a 4-star.
The Real McCoy starred an undocumented farm hand (see video at Cracker-Barrel where half the employees I saw last night definitely were not the Barrel-type specified).
Shirt sleeves to shirt sleeves in three generations is an American translation of a Lancashire proverb, “there’s nobbut three generations atween a clog and clog.”
Juan should be managing the appliances department of a Home Depot store. He might be able to handle it.
“..We don’t need anymore below average people getting near the Presidency.”
Yeah, they give away elections. America cannot afford any more McCains.
Interesting.
How many planes did McCain cost the US? He crashed 4 or 5, and I’ve never seen a clear answer on whether it was his plane that fired the missile on the USS Forrestal that caused the disaster.
Not excusing him; I know a couple of POWs who have nothing good to say about him.
The fact remains, however, is that he stuck it out by refusing an early release, if that is what really happened. I don't know, wasn't there.
Some POWs conducted themselves with honor—tried to escape—even faced death at the hands of their guards. I do not see this in the career of John McCain.
Yeah he should, he has served well an Appliance for the (progressive liberal democrat/rino communist uni-party)!
There's plenty of bad that can truthfully be said about McCain and this commentary hits some good points, but it would be better served if it appeared to be written by a rational adult. It all looks a bit unhinged at first glance and tends to drive people away, which is kinda too bad.
Hmmm. Seems to me I remember another “decorated” VN “hero” that several years ago ran for (p)resident only to end up as stenographer of state and again negotiating with sworn enemies of the USA. So, being a “deocorated” war “hero” may not mean as much as some people think. I did notice on the recruitment center where 5 military comrades were killed that in BIG letter in the window were, “Heros Don’t Brag”.
Now you are insulting Home Depot employees!
There’s been accusations that it was his plane that fired the Zuni rocket, not the jet behind him. The incident is on video.
Even John McCain himself didn’t portray himself as a war hero in his memoirs.
In fact, he admitted that he got shot down because he remained too long on his flying mission, or some other similar indefensible infraction that you’d expect from someone who graduated second-last in his class at West Point because he thought it was fun to break the rules.
He also admitted that he broke under torture in his North Vietnamese prison, even though he knew that as the son of the leading admiral in the Vietnam theater of operations there was no chance he would be killed — in contrast to other genuine heroes who did NOT break under torture and were killed because their fathers were mere plumbers and insurance salesmen back home taking care of their families.
If anyone deserves an apology it’s the people of Arizona, particularly the Veterans there, whom he has represented so poorly.
