The Left has been doing this, organized from above, since at least 2012: the Cyber-Warriors for Obama Project had guidance from the DNC, and funding from OFA.

But in their case, it was more than just astro-turfing: their little dweebs were told to try and match screen names with real names and addresses for individual targeting.

Liberals have several huge advantages when it comes to this sort of dishonesty. First, they have no morals, so they are never restrained by the qualms that would keep decent people from lying. Second, they are parasites, so each of them happily lives on welfare while pretending to be hundreds of people online. In contrast, conservatives prefer to work productively for a living.

Limbaugh is referring to the targeting of specific sponsor companies by these few individuals. In marketing, many companies believe that for every letter they receive, there are hundreds more people who feel the same way. These individuals fake boycott emails to make companies think that the negative sentiment is larger than it really is.

You think "our side" isn't doing the same thing? Let me remind you of the 30,000 people who cut up their Macy's credit cards last week. Was this actually 30,000 people or a few individuals astroturfing Macy's? I'm inclined to believe that it was real. There are real credit card accounts behind those letters.

Yup. Your values will help you a lot on the march to the reorientation camp. Reference Bracken.

Think my biggest ones are Wayne Rogers and Edward James Olmos last time I checked. Can’t imagine why, use it very little.

Why do want to be fake?

Why would you think that would ultimately lead to success and what type of success would that be?

Winning just to win is far different than winning to make a difference.

“I know I may sound naive, but I think deceit and fraudulent practices are the specialty of liberals. Conservatives lean more toward honesty, at least that’s what I find.”

Yes, and look where taking the high road has gotten us. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

Is this why so many liberal-pleasing hashtags rise to the top at Twitter lately?

Amish FReepers like to bash twitter as the devil’s work but conservatives have a very strong voice there and its not just an echo chamber.

We’ve simply got to use the technology available to us. I’m not a facebook fan so I use twitter instead. Plus it gives me a chance to tell Nancy Pelosi right in her feed that she’s a syphilitic toad rectum.

There are plenty of liberal twitterbots but conservatives often drive liberal tags to the top with ridicule.

Good point. That’s why we need more action from cons on our own Twitter tags. For example, don’t snark to #IstandwithPP, but instead post to #defundPP.

I think you’re right. For example Alynsky’s rules would work just as well for our side as they do for theirs, but it’s not in our genes to naturally go there, whereas for them it’s second nature.

But we better find something soon in our nature that’s effective to fight back with or else their side wins.

I can’t speak for everyone but I have a business to run. If someone were to pay me to troll liberal advertisers great. Trolling Limbaugh advertisers is a career to those people. They are paid to do it.
