And Carson for HHS, Cruz as attorney general in years 17-24 (although, to be honest, I wouldn’t mind seeing him as AG for all 24 years, but he will have 16 years to serve as VP/President, so he can only do so much).

Oh, and Ann Coulter as press secretary, throughout. Can’t stand her, but I know the left can’t stand her even more.

1. Cruz (my favorite! — a man I actually have confidence in, due to amazing performances like his spur-of-the-moment conversation with the interrupting Code Pink idiots)
.
.
.
.
. . . and somewhere down here . . .
.
.
2. Walker (who says, and apparently means, the right things — which I appreciate — but is about as sexy, interesting and appetizing as a piece of old shoe leather).

I have no #3. I realized as I was trying to think of a #3 that I was actually thinking of VP material, not top of the ticket. Trump is blaring out all the right messages right now, but I see him as very changeable, not to be relied on. (Also kind of an @$$hole, and while yes, he’s on our side, still, I’m just very tired of having any @$$hole at all in the White House. I’d prefer someone Presidential, please.) I like Fiorina but her record at HP makes me a little concerned.

I like Jindal and actually think he’d be an excellent VP, but I think if you put him in the top slot, his very Indian visage would still be a problem for the country at large, who haven’t been watching his performance in Louisiana. (If he were more handsome it might be okay, but he looks like an Indian-American Gilligan. You have to know his works to be impressed.) So I’d put Jindal into 2nd (if the leftover Walker or Cruz declined the VP position) and let the country have a few years to get used to his ethnic look. Then perhaps he could carry the country in the second eight years.

More than you wanted to know....

Trump Cruz combo would be unbeatable IMO

Provided the trajectory of the race doesn't drastically change, we're going to be voting for Trump/Cruz in November 2016. And they will win in a landslide.

What I would really like to see is Trump/Cruz win and then Trump bow out after a few years and let Cruz finish KICKING A$$!

I like that, but I'd much rather see Trump dismantle the commie federal leviathan for eight years, then see Cruz rebuild America in the Framers' vision for another eight.

I keep going back and forth with Trump and Cruz. Cruz is a real conservative and a genuine good person, but things would never be the same in Washington if Trump wins

I think they're going to pair up on the same ticket with Trump at the top. It's just a hunch, but it's pretty obvious they're cooking up something.

Just looking at the race with a cold impassioned eye, I can see that Trump is resonating with the American people in a way we've rarely seen in American politics. If he doesn't say or do something to totally screw it up, he's going to walk away with the nomination.

He and Cruz are sending clear signals that they're allies, which would indicate that they'll run together when Trump is nominated.

Ted Cruz is my guy. In fact, he's the only candidate I've ever sent money to - that's how much I believe in him. That said, he just hasn't been on the national stage long enough to win the nomination this time around. Give him eight years as Trump's VP and he'll be more than ready, as will the American people to have him as their President.

Ted Cruz And yes, he will win.

Ted's my Senator, and my first choice for Prez, but I'm afraid he hasn't been on the national stage long enough to take it this time around.

Trump's going to be the nominee this time around because Americans are sick to death of politicians in general, and are looking for a fire breathing outsider to rescue the country.

He can't be bought, and doesn't owe a thing to anyone. Neither the GOP-e or the Dems can control him, so he'll continue to take bold positions the others can't. Those positions will resonate with the public more and more, while diminishing his rivals in their eyes.

Again, unless something drastic happens with his campaign like some unrecoverable stumble, he's going to be the nominee, then go on to beat the Dem in a landslide of epic proportions.

If it looks like the only way to stop ¡Yeb! is with Trump, I’m good with that.

Then do what you know is right, and vote for him in the primary. VP Cruz will take over for him in 2024.
