Trump should get in this, help Cruz and therefore help us to expose these tyrants.
Yes. Cruz is seemingly out there alone. Some backup would be a plus. God Bless Cruz.
What makes you think that Trump is not supporting Cruz on this? I figure when my net worth gets to $10B I can start advising Donald Trump on what to do. ;-)
OK by me, and it's a fairly accurate description, as well.
For those monitoring the Sunday Talk Shows it would be nice if you posted any coverage of the Friday Historical Cruz Speech.
My expectation: NONE.
Some people on this board see him as a distraction. I see him as someone who is talking plain commonsense to open the issues for even the LIV. Cruz is the true debater and the smartest guy in the room and recognizes Trump taking no prisoners style is building momentum for conservative causes.
I still lean towards a Walker/Cruz ticket. Walker has the executive experience of turning his State around; Cruz has the skills to shut down Hillary/Sanders in any debate.
This is getting interesting as long as Trump doesn't step on his d*ck, and can blow off the obvious baggage he has.
Bottom line: Anyone who can get this much MSM face time and make socialist heads explode is okay by me.
He already has. I think Cruz is behind this curve. Cruz is acting like he’s just discovered it. Trump has been talking about it for some time only saying it’s just DC business as usual.
Are we seriously going to start hurling insults and snide remarks every time we disagree? I thought we'd run that strategy into the ground last primary season.
Me too. Between the two, I prefer Cruz. He makes a lot of good points. But he comes across as just another news show talking head. That's not a dig; 99% of all politicians are like that.
On the other hand, Trump comes out swinging, brash and bold, almost over the top. Middle America is truly desperate for that kind of leadership. It's a shame Cruz didn't think of that approach first.
Its what I don’t get about the fixation with Trump.
He says what informed people have known for a long time and his followers act as if a messianic figure has revealed some great truth.
Ted Cruz has been fighting this fight since before he was a nationally known figure. In the Medellín v. Texas case he took on and defeated both the DC establishment and international establishment as well as gaining justice for the victims of a murdering illegal alien.
Informed people are too small of a voting bloc. He has the capability to reach the Low-Info voter in a way that no other Republican can.
I will gladly swim in Cruz’ tsunami.
You dont have to support Cruz or Trump to appreciate what they are doing.
When is the last time there were two candidates for President who took on both major political parties and the media while running as Republicans?
Think about that.
If you support Cruz, as I currently do, you see that Trump is making Cruz issues popular with the moderate middle(the old Moral Majority and Reagan Democrats, among others).
At the same time, Cruz is legitimizing Trumps candidacy with his support and praise for the positions Trump is taking, particularly on border security and illegal aliens and unlawful immigration.
The dynamic between the two men is an interesting one, and well worth watching and encouraging. We may well be witnessing the building of a powerful coalition.
I think the Tigers’ recent woes must be getting to you. FYI I am for Cruz, but I like how Trump is shaking things up in the Republican party, and I think in the end, he is helping Cruz.
Trump is out there all by himself too and showing everyone how it is done. I am amazed that the other candidates are getting their clocks cleaned and they still are not taking Trump seriously .
As long as they are not taking this competitor seriously, he will take up all the market share. Trump views what he is doing as taking over a market and selling into that market. Trump probably cannot believe his competition does not understand this.
Cruz needs to emulate Trump and rise in the polls. Right now he is stuck in the mud and better do something quickly to rise or he will never make any progress.
American love a winner and no matter how qualified Cruz is he better start showing he knows how to win or he become a statistic.
Ted Cruz led 31 states in District of Columbia v. Heller where the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a ban on firearms in a 5-4 landmark decision.
Keep it up Trump...blast them all! Just don't go third party which would kill our chances for a conservative President. Remember, if it weren't for Perot, we would not have had the Clintons.
