Remember, if it weren't for Perot, we would not have had the Clintons.

If it weren't for Bush, we would not have had the Clintons.

Fixed it.

"Informed people are too small of a voting bloc. He has the capability to reach the Low-Info voter in a way that no other Republican can."

Exactly! Although not as abrasive as Trump, Ronald Reagan did the same thing as in making politics assessable to the LIV's. He put things in words that made people understand how the DC elite were intruding on their lives/liberties. I long remember Reagan's words, "Government is not the solution, it is part of the problem". Trump would do well to mention that quote in every speech.

Cruz is doing the same, but is not as forceful to the populace and has no "cult of personality", which is major part of elections now. Trump has it and obviously the MSM is following him, which means his message is getting out.

As much as I'd like to see Cruz in the restored Oval Office, I believe he would make a better running mate for Trump or Walker.

Fair enough, but Perot did divide the Republican vote.

Bush loses either way, most of the Perot voters wouldn’t have even voted.

Yep. Back in the early 1990's, I actually had respect for Perot. But now I see him as one of the worst kinds of people. Some pieces of garbage put money before their country. Some put fame before their country. Perot put his own ego before the country, knowing full well what would happen.

One can only hope Trump doesn't go that route.

Don't know about Perot voters, but Herbert Walker lost his own re-election with his stupid "Read my libs, no new taxes" and then signed new taxes. Not to mention he had forsaken the Reagan principles and couldn't compete with Mr. Cult-of-personlity-sax playing, boxer-or-briefs for the mindless youth that was boy-Clinton.

Bush and Clinton made a deal, they go way back. Just like Hillary and Jeb have made a deal.

I wonder if the talk Cruz and Trump had has anything to do with a few new things going on????

I think they are operating in solidarity, whether any formal agreement has been struck or not. Very interesting to watch. The debates are going to be even better.

What makes you think that Trump is not supporting Cruz on this?

I guess I didn’t make it clear. I know Trump supports Cruz but I think he should come out and say that McConnell is indeed a lying SOB and we don’t need that as majority leader.

It’s what the left would do and that’s why they keep winning.

So far, Donald Trump has not done what the Left would do. He has done what Trump would do. It is working out OK so far. Let's see what comes of this.
