Anyone think this guy can get out of his traffic ticket?
To: Citizen Zed
I think it’s Massachusetts, since Boston is mentioned? Is that correct.

So now the detectives want to get in on all the fun the uniforms are having?

If the camera wasn’t confiscated, then he absolutely should get out of it. The guy was off duty, and was acting like a maniac. If the driver were to press charges, the city might settle for a small amount under the table.
1. This is why more people are using dashcams.
2. This is why so many people don’t trust police.

There used to be a one way street in a town near Boston where people used to line up to make a left turn onto a one-way street (when free of oncoming traffic) to go halfway down a block and turn into the back of a shopping center. No big deal. Traffic in the whole place can only have gotten worse.

What ticket?
Out of control off duty detective should get fined/fired for outrageous road rage incident, for attempting to abuse his authority against a citizen, for a traffic violation, under color of law.

Not in uniform. Pulled a gun before identifying himself.
Looked like a car jacking. I’d have dropped him.
This POS thugcop needs to e fired and should do some time.

The LOW IQ Detective STUPIDLY thought that by shutting down the car’s engine the camera would stop recording. The Detective clearly has mental and emotional problems and has no business being in a police force.
The cops who responded were reasonable...they may well know that the Detective is a well-known out-of-control idiot in the Department.
To: Citizen Zed
I think the cop is a NAZI and needs to be removed from duty.
