Most Mac users can do their own tech support. . .

And therein lies the rub. IT guys like their job so why would they install equipment that makes them obsolete?

No, that’s what “Apple Care” is for.

If the machines were so perfect you simply wouldn’t need that warranty for anything.

Most people can’t fix their own Mac’s without reinstalling everything. Or taking it into their local “help me I’m a tech neophyte” Apple Store. That’s the secret to Apple’s “success”. Just like car dealers do with their service centers.

And speaking of which, driving your car without any issues is it? Feel free to email me the VIN of your “perfect” vehicle and I’ll be happy to look it up to see just how “flawless” it’s really been, right down to the safety recalls. I’m sure you wouldn’t mind that...would you?
