Donald Trump could take center stage at the first Republican presidential debate Thursday on Fox News if he maintains his lead in the polls.
Under debate rules, the candidate leading the latest poll — Trump, as of Friday — takes the stage’s middle podium, Bloomberg News reported.
Trump topped Thursday’s Quinnipiac poll with 20 percent of the Republican vote. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was second at 13 percent and ex-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was third at 10 percent.

What I don’t like is Meghan Kelly licking her chops over this debate. I have a feeling she is going to be asking a lot of “gotcha” questions to Trump in an effort to bring him down. I don’t like her as much as others do. And, oh yeah, Chris Wallace is the same. The only fair person on the panel is going to be Brett. I just hope they aren’t all conspiring to take Trump down - it could backfire on them.
Fox is sure putting on the big hype about what will probably prove to be a dull night. Try and divide 90 minutes between 10 politicians and 4 moderators and what do you get. Nothing. When does the NFL Pre-Season start?

There's a flaw in your reasoning - if Newt had continued his strategy in Iowa early and then in SC, I think he would have won the Presidency. He stopped "tearing them up" in Florida. How? Because he quit focusing so brilliantly on Obama, Democrats in Congress, Reid, Pelosi, lib judges, lib unions, lib academics, and libs in media......and started obsessing on Romney. And it was over.
To fully test your theory, we'd need to see a Newt type performance carried all the way through. The good Newt tore them up. The bad Newt imploded...but the debates are the single biggest factor in both Newt's rise and Newt's fall.
Trump is the only one that realizes that China is destroying the USA and is the only one that knows how to correct this.China makes everything . the U.S. is running on DEBT because it produces hardly anything.
Trump is also the only one who made illegals an issue people are talking about. Illegals and China ,2 of the things destroying America
However Scott Walker and Ann Coulter are the only 2 people who have said that it's not just illegals that are the problem but also legal 3rd world immigrants. Current laws (1965 immigration act) which make legal immigration come almost exclusively from the 3rd world is what is moving America to the left.
So my choices now are Trump/Walker or Walker/Trump in 2016 ,still trying to decide between these 2 but leaning toward Trump/Walker because I think Trump might be able to get his agenda of building the wall and stopping China through while changing legal immigration is almost impossible. So yes Trump/Walker for now until new information pops up .
But if I were sure that Walker reducing legal and illegal immigration were his top agenda items then Walker.

I used to never miss her, I quit watching her and Fox when they started low balling TED CRUZ, They acted like he doesn’t exist and he is our only hope as far as I am concerned. I don’t dislike Trump but I prefer CRUZ.

Meghan Kelly is liberal double agent. She puts on an act some times to seem conservative sometimes but she’s a liberal. I’m sure of it
While you and I butt heads on some issues, I agree 100% about Newt. It was his to lose, and he lost.
