All this concern over the people’s right to unfettered access to everything legislative, yet no information is offered, attained or forthcoming regarding the cost to the taxpayers of the four year John Doe probe.

Funny how that works . . .

You do nothing but post Anti-Walker articles from left-leaning rags, and in this case, JSOnline which has a vested interest in seeing Walker defeated.

You act, walk and smell like a troll.

Yeah, I get the same thing from Walkerbots whether the source is Breitbart, Red State, Fox News, Hot Air, or ANY news source that does not fit their opinion. The rush to defend Walker reminds me of a mother hen clucking and squawking. I think there may soon be a good dose of reality administered into the mix as the debates heat up.

I think your first concern about DC being a different game is a fair one and I do think that one of Walker’s weaknesses is loyalty where none was deserved, but if there was one thing learned here over the last 4 years its that were constantly at war with the left and they cannot be redeemed.

What many in the rest of the country view as too nice and trusting is simply staying the course and letting your actions and results speak for themselves. If it was just about staying alive in a blue State Wisconsin wouldn’t have had any of the massive changes for the better during his tenure and Walker wouldn’t have actually had Republicans (in our case though Conservatives) expand their control in both houses of State government, and the WSSC swing over to the conservative side.

Have you ever lived in Wisconsin? For someone supposedly from Medina, TN, you seem singularly focused on a governor from a state where you have no affiliation. You are a one-trick pony and seemingly only post negative stories, including falsehoods everywhere, about Scott Walker.

I'm no "Walkerbot" but when you are effectively playing the role of John Chisholm on Free Republic where it comes to Scott Walker, yeah, I'm going to call you out on it.

Walker may not be YOUR candidate but posting from liberal rags CONSISTENTLY in an effort to undermine him is questionable, at best.

Your recent sources have been:

-the Editor of the Milwaukee Sentinel (who was SILENT when Governor Doyle was secretly hiding many, many liberal policies and approaches and who was SILENT when Chisholm was breaking all sorts of laws in a political witch hunt
- politifact - which has been proven NOT to be an honest arbiter of "facts"
- http://thepoliticus.com/ - a blog piece which is actually an article by DailyKos - a hard left journal. Moreover the Story is full of falsehoods and conjecture.

I don't see a big "rush" to defend Scott Walker. I do know his state's economy has improved since he took over. I know his budgets are balanced and that, after THREE elections, he continues to win by bigger margins. I have confidence he will be poked and prodded and forced to defend his policies and stances and the voters will be the judge, as they should.

But, to continue to post leftist articles focused on the same crap we've heard about Scott Walker for YEARS, to NO AVAIL, certainly brings to question your intent.

Why the hatred of Scott Walker specifically? Jilted teacher? Union Steward? Part of Chisholm's office? Come on, let us ALL know why you are so personally invested in making sure falsehoods about Scott Walker are spread?

I see Walker as the GOPe default candidate. He has been protected by the MSM and GOP from the time they first started grooming him. It is no mystery as to why I am interested in this. Walker is running for President and I live in this country.

My number 1 issue is illegal immigration. Not only has Walker been weak and indecisive, he kept floating Rubio as his running mate. How anyone can believe that he is serious about solving illegal immigration is a mystery.

The nation cannot afford to have Walker do to jobs and the middle class what he has done in Wisconsin. Since he has been governor Wisconsin has lost its middle class faster than any other state. They are 44th in private sector job creation. He promised 250,000 jobs his first term. Now, into his second term he is over 100,000 jobs short of that. The Wisconsin economy has grown at about half the rate as the rest of the country.

I think that those in Wisconsin who like what Walker is doing should be glad for him to stay there. In other words, if you like your Governor, you can Keep you Governor.

The context is, he tried to repeal Open Records Laws 3 days before he announced his Presidential run. What’s he hiding?

Fair enough question - considering how the Left and the Unions have been attacking him for the last couple years and stacking the deck against him, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until such time as someone actually finds some dirt - even the witch hunts came up empty so I won't do them any favors by jumping to conclusions.

That said GO CRUZ!!!

Keep it up Trump - nearly all of your enemies are my enemies too.

A July article from The Hill:

A closer look at Wisconsin’s economy under Gov. Scott Walker

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is looking for a new job but, unfortunately, so are too many of his constituents.

After running on the promise to create 250,000 new private sector jobs by the end of his first term, Walker didn’t just fail to meet this goal, he failed miserably, creating barely half of his promised amount.

Walker has implemented a failed economic strategy, based on basic and failed Republican economic principals, that has left Wisconsin lagging behind peer states. Even just a glance at economic metrics in Wisconsin tells a story of stifled job growth, ballooning deficits, and a shrinking middle class.

When looking for reasons why Walker may have failed so miserably at creating jobs in Wisconsin, the obvious place to look would be his flagship job creation agency: The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). WEDC, which Walker chaired, gave out taxpayer-funded loans to hundreds of companies in the hopes of spurring growth. But the jobs Walker promised never materialized. Instead, in an epic display of mismanagement, WEDC lost track of millions of dollars in loans, gave awards to ineligible businesses, and has generally been a poor steward of taxpayers’ money.

In terms of job growth, Wisconsin has consistently trailed the national average. In fact, Wisconsin only saw 1.5 percent private-sector job growth in 2014. Unfortunately for Wisconsinites, while this is the best job creation number Walker has seen throughout his entire time in office, it lags far behind the national growth rate of 2.6 percent.

But none of this should come as a surprise. Instead of fulfilling his promise to create jobs, Walker has chosen to prioritize attacking public workers and teachers. All this did was create a culture of polarization that has divided his state to the core.

How big a failure have Walkernomics been? Just look next door at Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton’s Minnesota, which leads Wisconsin in almost every economic indicator.

In Minnesota, Dayton turned a $5 billion budget deficit into an over $1 billion budget surplus in just one term. By requiring the wealthiest earners to pay their fair share, Minnesota is now in a position to invest more resources into the state’s schools and infrastructure.

In Wisconsin, Walker was unable to take his state out of the red and faced a $2 billion budget deficit. Walker made the decision to cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires, while slashing education funding and refusing to make investments that would benefit middle class families and Wisconsin’s financial wellbeing.

In Minnesota, Dayton has moved forward Democratic policies like increasing the minimum wage, expanding Medicaid, and investing in the middle class, and now we are seen as one of the most business friendly states in the country. Just this year, Forbes ranked Minnesota as the 9th best state for business and careers, 7th in economic climate and 2nd in quality of life. On top of all that, CNBC just ranked Minnesota the country’s top state for business in 2015.

In Wisconsin, Walker refuses to raise the minimum wage and equal pay legislation, rejected federal funds to expand Medicaid, and attacked Wisconsin workers with right to work legislation and anti-collective bargaining policies. As a result, the cost of doing business in Wisconsin is higher than the national average, and median household income in Wisconsin is thousands of dollars less than it is in Minnesota.

While Dayton has clearly reformed Minnesota and put our state on a path to economic prosperity, Walker has reformed Wisconsin for the worse. So if Walker wants to run on a platform of his reforms and economic growth, what exactly does he have to brag about?

Walker and other Republican governors running for president like to say their credentials as a governors make them most qualified to be president. But in reality, those credentials amount to failed job creation, tax cuts for the wealthy, and ballooning deficits. Not so presidential in my opinion.

Ha! You see Walker as the GOPe darling and ignore the giant in the room - Jeb Bush! Please....

If your top issue is illegal immigration, then which candidate appeals most to your idea? They've all been all over the map. Cruz talks well but his votes give some things away. Trump has been all over the map. Walker flip-flopped. Bush is full blown - let em in.

I would encourage you to re-examine the job growth in Wisconsin. The numbers you provided are not accurate at all and have been pointed out as such in numerous articles. You are correct in Walker not having raised 250,000 jobs. He fell short - and I don't see job growth as a bad metric. Doyle cratered the state and Walker has it growing again. Your bias is showing loud and clear.

I would still like to know why you are so singularly focused on Scott Walker and diving DEEP into the details when you haven't lived nor do you live in the state? I mean you posted articles from the DailyKoz to support your case. That takes a special kind of intent.

Are you really this dumb? This was WRITTEN by R.T. RYBAK, the DEMOCRATIC former Mayor of Minneapolis. You are a troll here doing nothing but publishing leftist articles against Republican candidates. Nice that you point to "The Hill" but fail to recognize the author. You did the same with your masked DailyKos article given to you "by a friend."

Maybe stick to one of your other forums to pedal this crap.

Can’t refute the content in this one either, huh. All you do is whine about the messenger because you know the message is true. Face it, when it comes to jobs and the economy, Walker Sucks. He’s weak on immigration and wants Rubio to be his running mate. He’s as bad as Jeb.

I appreciate your comments. People like Reince Priebus and other local party officials seem too eager to compromise and don't care for we TEA party-types. I might add that during the 2010 campaign, Walker declared his preference for Lt. Governor and it was not the conservative, who eventually won, Rebecca Kleefisch.

We here at Free Republic can always count on you to be the mouthpiece for the Looney Left. Its like we have a Lenin Scholar in Residence right here at FR.

The Left’s view of economics in Wisconsin are easy to find, it’s the diatribe of the mainstream media, and by you as well.

Conservatives have a different view, but I’m sure that you will disagree:

Ah, another post attacking Walker with liberal talking points.

You are one sick puppy, deranged, attacking Walker from the left.

As one poster on this thread said, if Cruz wins, he'll need all the idiots he can get, and he's certainly got you.

Conservativejoy=the new pissant. Hating everyone else, posting lib talking points against them all so their candidate will look better. Guess what, that's a low view of your candidate, and sucks big time. What utter garbage these posts are, once again, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Cruz certainly is.

Walker’s economy::

——Wisconsin’s labor participation rate is 5 percent above the national average. It is substantially unchanged during Walker’s governorship because Wisconsin (at 4.6 unemployment) nearly at full employment.

——Wisconsin was one of 16 states with a below-average unemployment rate in May and above-average income growth in 2014 using per-capita disposable income, according to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.

—Walker has REDUCED WISCONSIN DEBT in the budget by 67 percent!!!

and Wisconsin’s Moody’s rating has improved.

Property taxes have been reduced to the lowest levels since 1946, and taxes have been cut by more than $2 billion.

That's nice - here's a story from last year which also shows where some of the "deficits" come from - (hint - it's because he pushes for tax breaks even when the historical overspending has most politicians pushing for tax hikes so they can keep up the waste):

In 2011, Wisconsin had a whopping deficit of $3.6 billion dollars. But a cooperate tax cut and collective bargaining reforms invigorated the state economy. Now, the state is boasting a $911 million surplus, credited to “good stewardship of the taxpayers’ money.”

And what will Walker do? Buy his wife a $19,000 dress? Increase his paycheck? Go on vacation? Nope. He’s proposing $800 million in tax cuts. “What do you do with a surplus? Give it back to the people who earned it. It’s your money,” Walker said.

Gee what a louse! Don't know what it is about Walker that shoved so many bugs up your nether regions, but it's looking more like an obsession that anything else.

He takes bold action, acknowledging that the funding for government is really the property of the taxpayers and doesn't belong to the government (and he does it with the Obama economy still exerting a choke hold) and you find some deviousness and incompetence in it all - would that all politicians were so devious and incompetent...

If the state borrowing 800 million and then declaring a budget surplus works for you, have at it. I just want someone who can right the course of the country with jobs and economic growth and that isn’t Walker.
