I have two problem areas, 61 yo female. First, my knees. The cartilidge in my knees is disappearing rapidly. I have been getting shots, in both knees, of an artificial cartilidge, which works pretty well. I had been going to the doctor about onced every 6-8 months. The last time I went, the doc told me that they had discovered that laying down on my back to receive the shot, made the medicine more effective; and, he was right as it has been well over a year since I have had to go to him for my knees. Also, arthritis on the knee caps.

My other problem is my lower back. Again, loss of cartilidge from between the discs. Also, arthritis on a lot of my spinal column. Nothing but chiropratic when needed. This is my father's back, and he also did chiropractic for it for most of his life. I believe the low back is affecting the left hip.

Is this SynVisc that you are receiving? If so I had several rounds of those shots in my knees, but still ended up with bilateral total knee replacements (about a year apart). My knees are so awesome now - wish the rest of my body could keep up with them!
