I'm a firm Republican...but he does a lot for NY. He's very good to/for the Vets and farmers.

So on the local level, he's fine but on the Federal level....not so much.

Sure he is. They’ve counted the votes and they don’t need Chuck’s so he can go home and beat his chest now for his constituents.
This is an old trick Republicans are using a lot lately. My own guy did it last month—voted one way, locals didn’t like it, so they juggled the votes and he voted the other way. I called him on it by e-mail and didn’t get a response.

I didn’t think that Schumer would, especially since he grew up in a very pro Israel neighborhood in Brooklyn. I don’t expect Bernie to approve of it either.(same reason) Plus the Israel Lobby is much stronger than the Iranian one in DC. This great Obama/Kerry deal is another Munich agreement.
Praeger pretty much makes the case here.
