Jets quarterback Geno Smith has a broken jaw after a fight with a teammate and will be sidelined for the next six to ten weeks, according to New York head coach Todd Bowles.

“He got cold-cocked. Sucker punched, whatever you want to call it, in the jaw,” Bowles said of Smith, who had been anointed the starting quarterback earlier this summer by the Jets’ coaching staff.

I repeat: Brady CHOKED and lost a chance at a perfect 19-0 season to Eli Manning, then lost again to Manning 4 yrs later and were it not for an awad winng pla for stupidity would have lost last years SB. Seattle LOST the SB more than Brady won it and that’s a pure fact.

Pats play in a weak division in a weak conference. And who cries and begs for roughing the passer flags more than Brady. He falls apart under pressure of a strong pass rush. Watch the 2008 SB game and compare Brady to Manning. Manning broke free from 4 guys trying to bring him down to get the ball (properly inflated) to Tyree while Bady dropped he ground and pissed himself at the sound of foot steps coming his way.

Brady is a pussy and the Pats cheat. That is their legacy.

Super Bowl XLII
Brady 6 yard TD pass to Randy Moss. Time 2:42 4th quarter.
Patriots 14 Giants 10.

Eli Manning 16 yard TD pass to Plaxico Burress. Time .35 4th quarter.
Giants 17 Patriots 14.
Unless Brady transformed into Asante Samuel who let an easy interception go through his hands, he didn't choke.

Lol, didn’t choke? He couldn’t set up in the pocket in either loss against the Giants and his feet were dancing like a world class tap dancer. He was scared sh*tless while Manning was totally unruffled.

Put Pats in the NFC and they barely play .500 ball.

And they cheat besides everything else. When Miss Brady goes into the record books he will have an asterick the size of a quarter next to his name. Who knows how many games she stole.

Exactly what I was thinking.

As I recall, Longley came off the bench late in the game because Roger had been injured in some way. Cowboys were trailing the Redskins and Longley threw a bomb for the winning touchdown. .......After the game, in the locker room, Longley sucker punched Roger and was fired. Never heard of him again after his 15 minutes of fame.

The Longley pass against the Redskins happened Thanksgiving of 74.

The punch occurred during the 1976 Pre-Season, He was then traded to the Chargers, in exchange for draft picks, one of which turned out to be Tony Dorsett.

And you just have to know as soon as Longley, wherever he is today, heard about Geno Smith, he had to think to himself, Oh Crap, now they’re going to bring up me and Roger again.

Yes, Loser, Brady and the Pats were soundly defeated by the Giants twice.
But they still have four Super Bowl rings.
So, Loser- which non-winning Loser franchise do you follow?
Bet you’ve never seen a Super Bowl parade, have ya?

Nah! Belechik blameless here but he and Thomasina Brady got what they deserved.

I agree, another Super Bowl ring.

You're right, a QB folded like a cheap hat and threw an interception on 2nd and goal from the one yard line with 20 seconds left in the game.

Defltegate is history and despite the final outcome Brady’s credibility is forever shot.

Framegate will not keep Brady out of the HOF.

Heck of a way to improve your team’s chances.

Sure great numbers but when you cheat to get them they are meaningless.

Oh he’ll get in the HOF ok but with the largest asterisk ever used placed beside all his numbers.

Books been written on this guy and his coach and nothing changes that.

Why I’m a NYG fan and they have won more championships than the Cheatriots,

The team ranks third among all NFL franchises with eight NFL titles: four in the pre–Super Bowl era (1927, 1934, 1938, 1956) and four since the advent of the Super Bowl (Super Bowls XXI (1986), XXV (1990), XLII (2007), and XLVI (2011)), along with more championship appearances than any other team, with 19 overall ...

And they did it all without cheating.

Thanks for refreshing my old memory!

For some unknown reason, I was thinking the event occurred right after the game.

Your correction of my mistake cleared that up. ....Dorsett was a prize!

I’m STILL mad about how Bob Hayes was treated by the law and the NFL! His skills forced all teams to adopt zone coverage.
