Saw it, pretty good. Trump was scattered and disjointed as usual, you have to listen close to pick out some nuggets, but he is starting to let out some details on policy. Hannity did a pretty good job of getting him back on track, he’s a good journalist, probably one of the best on Fox. Sometimes I think he’s a twit, but still a good reporter.
If I’m still awake I’ll try to watch again later tonight, he wants to hit ISIS hard and shut off their money, which I completely agree with, I’ve been saying the same thing since last year when they started taking over Iraq. There’s only one reason it hasn’t been done already, idiots running the show. OK two...Obama doesn’t want to beat them, just kick the can down the road to another president.
He’s also talking about a simplified, possibly graduated tax code. Low taxes for the little guy, more for the rich but both a lot lower than current taxes. What he said was basically people who make more can afford more.
I’m not sure I agree, while it may sound good on the surface, it’s not fair. I would agree with a good tax break for minimum wage to $3 per hour above it, let them keep as much as you can afford to, after that, 15% across the board, rich or not. That’s still less than anyone pays in taxes now. Cut out the loopholes, tax shelters and many frivolous write offs, cut back on excessive govermnment spending, you’re on your way to a better economy.
That’s all I can remember right now.
The morons on TV are already saying Trump’s ISIS plan won’t work...yeah right...so how does a broke army manage to operate? Cut off their money and they’re already dead, just haven’t stopped breathing.
Just needs to do a lot of interviews in her time slot elsewhere.
