Technically, she is correct. But only because, as Secretary of State, she was the Classifying AUTHORITY and wasn’t doing her JOB.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for the MSM to point this out.

Almost ALL of her MISSING (Yes I said MISSING, think “18 minute gap”) emails just before and during the time of Benghazi would DEFINITELY have been CLASSIFIED. Most DEFINITELY. Perhaps THAT is why she DELETED them, save to mention the ‘staged hostage-taking of Stevens on behalf of her BFF Mohammed Morsi’ thing.

That is correct. The creator of classified information is supposed to choose the classification. That is usually inferred from the source if the information is a synthesis of existing material, and from the definitions and guidelines if the material is an entirely new creation. As Secretary of State, she could argue that she mishandled her responsibilities for choosing the proper classification rather than mishandling classified materials. I'm not sure that is any better politically.

BS, The security administrator for the state department was the classifying authority. This Bitch did or did not sign off on the quarterly security briefings, that is the question. Subpoena the records and the security administrator. It’s long since past she was in jail. The evidence is there without even seeing documents. A non government thumb drive is the smoking gun.
