The 25-year-old Texan died after a long bout with cystic fibrosis. Her funeral was August 15 at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
“There wasn’t any forced entry to the facility,” Sgt. Javier Salazar told CNN affiliate KSAT. “So what it’s believed is between the hours of 1:30 p.m., when the service ended, to about 4:30 p.m., when they locked up for the evening, someone came in and stole Ms. Mott’s remains. That person remains at large.”
Funeral home owner Dick Tips told the affiliate that he believes the body may have been stolen by someone who didn’t support Mott’s cremation, which was supposed to take place August 17.

Truthfully, I think they already have a suspect. And the suspect’s motives may be a profound affection for the deceased and the knowledge that she abhorred cremation.
I know of a bunch of cases where people went to extraordinary lengths to insure the proper disposition of remains, when those in charge wished to dispose of them in other ways.
Probably the most well known was based on real events, in the movie Grand Theft Parsons (2003).

How else would you pronounce haus? Lots of ways phonetically to pronounce house, buy only one way to pronounce haus?
He always joked about it, and said he gave up trying to go by “Richard” his actual first name early in grade school.
My friend attended Thomas Alva Edison Vocational High School in Queens, which in 1968 was all male. When they had a substitute very attractive female teacher, somebody signed the attendance roster “Dick Hertz”. When she could not find a corresponding name on the class list and inquired, “Who’s Dick Hertz”, she was answered with a chorus of “Mine does!”.
Haus in German is pronounced like “how’s”. As in “How’s your wife and my kids?”

I’m pretty sure he was a colonel, so I would say he was an 0-6.
Then again, he may have been a Lieutenant Colonel, so that would have made him an 0-5.
The man taught a general aviation ground school course when I was in college, many years ago.
Some of the people taking the course were in Air Force ROTC, others, such as myself, were not.
I currently work for a Rick Head. He sometimes goes by Ricky or Richard but never Dick...

I’ve heard of her, mostly because of the name.
There was a guy who tried to get his name changed to Rumpleforeskin but I think the judge turned him down.
