Likely they will wait for several weeks or months, hoping that a cooperative media will eventually yawn and drop the story as "old news." That is a tried-and-true Clinton tactic from the '90s.
One problem however is that Trey Gowdy's are hearings coming up this fall. That, plus the drip-drip-drip of leaks from Obamaites who hate Hillary, is going to make it hard for the Hillary-loving mainstream media to make the story go away.
So, how will her team get out of this pickle gracefully? My prediction is they will be forced to resort to a sudden "health crisis" (maybe she will fall and hit her head again). The advantage of that cover story is that she will gain some sympathy as she suspends, or ends, her campaign.
I am not certain they are frantic about much. One thing we know about our leaders on the hill is that most appear compromised in some way. That to me is not by accident. What I am certain of is Clintons’ tenacity to get out of tight spots or the appearance of tight spots. Appearance and timing rule the world. Wish there was more depth to it but I don’t believe there is.
Got into a discussion with someone that was certain she was going to prison. I laughed out loud. Did not want to be rude but it was too funny. They looked at me like I had lobsters crawling out of my ears. I reminded them Hillary keeps dossiers on everyone she has ever met and she is not going anywhere. This most obvious pause in my opinion is her taking stock of who she will need to smoke to get this behind her. Ashley Madison is sticking in my mind especially with the timing. Timing is always the most important aspect of most everything. I don’t believe in coincidences and the timing on these two occurrences are nagging at me. What could be happening is diversionary tactic, look at all the smoke over here and don’t look at Hillary over there or maybe someone is sending some very clear f*ck with me and I will f*ck with you messages.
Just a theory I am toying with. The Clintons’ whatever they may be are master chess players. People should never forget that. Those that do will only make that mistake once.
I find it highly interesting that she has not dropped out of the race.
