My poisonal favorite is when someone tells me they are nauseous. I always quickly agree and turn my head
Good one! Seems almost everyone uses “nauseous” instead of “nauseated.”
Another one is “anxious.” “I’m anxious to go to the party.” Why, is there somebody there you dread?
Another one is when you’re talking about something owned by two people. It would be “Joe and Carol’s children” if they have children in common, but “Joe’s and Carol’s children” if they each had children separately with different spouses.
