If you are going “way out” then neither.
The map functions work ok in the city, but you get up on a mountain and they will not work without cellular service.
Plus, they are battery hogs. How are you going to charge them?

When I’m in the woods I carry two different battery chargers. The Mophie will give me two charges from 10% and the Power Traveller will give me three. Starting with 100% I’m good for a week.
