Jeepster...1954?
I already have many times in not uncertain terms.
They will sell out the first year.
Nice "wives tale", but Jeep Wranglers must be able to traverse the Rubicon trail without assistance. Ford has no such "standards" for their trucks.
Unfortunately, other than the Wrangler, new Jeeps do not have to meet that same standard anymore (it was once a requirement to wear the Jeep badge)
Bottom line: there is no more capable vehicle than a Jeep Wrangler.

How about their revival of the ‘60 Ford F-100 PU bed?
Maybe its going to be a Fissan.
Um...no.
The current assembly plant cannot meet demand for the 2 and 4 door Wranglers. They are preparing a new assembly plant for higher volume production and a second plant for multiple variants.
The super secret is that there is more than just a pickup variant coming......
Let us know when it actually is on the dealer showroom. We’ve heard this line from Jeep every single year about one product or another.
Its coming!

Who wants a Fake Jeep Crooozer?

A two wheel drive PU will get you into the mud, but seldom out of it.

I want an HSV Maloo. Thats all I want!
I’m talking about old Fords and old Jeeps. The old Jeep pickup wasn’t the old 1/4 ton Jeep of WWII. It could go anywhere. The pickup wasn’t great in mud.
I have a pre Obama Silverado and my wife has a Denali, when they expire, we will not be going back to GM after 0ver 30 years of product loyalty.
My 2004 Ram 2500 was Hechoed en Mexico. The 5.9 Cummins HO powerplant in it, not so much.
The FJ outperforms the Jeep in mileage, reliability, mileage, and off-road ability.
Toyota drove 2 stock FJ the entire Rubicon trail.
The engineering on the Jeep isn’t even in the same league as the FJ.
I’m saying this as someone who’s owned a Cherokee, Comanche, and still has a 2000 Wrangler Sport that i let my irresponsible daughter drive.
Just sold my LJ Unlimited. Ended up in a bidding war between 3 buyers.
The newer 4 door Unlimiteds just don’t do it for me unless they are dolled up quite a bit. Love Wranglers and have had several. I’m just too old for them now.
I can see Jeep doing a Rambl Lambo LM style 4 door with a short bed, along with that king cab dealio.
I have a V8 Cherokee and a Wrangler. I’m with ya but I hate hybrids. Usually I take the Cherokee on dates and the Wrangler for camping, I want them separate.
You haven’t driven an FJ Cruiser, then.
