“Some people have hopes of passing amendments [to the U.S. Constitution],” said Trump, “but it’s not going to happen. Congress can’t pass simple things, let alone that. So anybody that’s making that an issue is doing it for political reasons. The Supreme Court ruled on it.”
Yes I knew he said that. That’s when I decided I can’t vote for him. I understand his point is that he thinks it can’t happen. But he is fighting illegal immigration with a lot of opposition and the same weak congress.
Still, what he says about the clerk will reveal his own beliefs, not just whether he is willing to fight for something.
