Did the first batch of salsa last weekend. It's a smoky ranchera salsa. Tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppers (pablano & jalapeno), & oregano fresh from the garden and grilled slowly with some apple wood. Great on eggs in the morning. Also pickled a few jalapenos.

Probably can some tomato soup or spaghetti sauce this weekend.

I had so many jalapenos 2 years ago, I pickle them too and can in half pints. Still have 4 jars left.
