No Zark or Rover in the original. Anderson was Dr. Nanbu, and President Kane was Chief Anderson, though. The Phoenix always took off from underwater (Crescent Coral Base in the original).

In the original and sequels to the original, Nanbu’s wardrobe never changed, even when he became “Choukan” after Anderson Choukan died.

That Yankee-ization of good anime.
Zark and the rover annoyed me to no end.
The music was good. I have the CD set of BoTP.

What does NASA actually launch, these days, with all the Muslim outreach and global warming fantasies keeping them busy? :)

My only question is; WHY DID THEY BUILD THESE IN A SWAMP AT SEA LEVEL?

Oh, man. Is that rich, or what? Totally something that I would expect out of The Venture Brothers... but even better because that was the original G.I. Joe.

I’ve seen the same inlet wall at the Jersey shore for the last 45 years or so. High tides can be high, low tides can be low. But on average I’d say the water has been right about where it’s always been for the last 45 years or so.
Unless the concrete walls, bulkheads, and jetties are rising too...

God I miss NASA.
This whacked-out, lying new Green Muslim organization that took it's place, is outright bizarre.
