Chamberlain was still a British patriot who thought (wrongly) that he was doing the right thing for his country. I think he went on to serve in Churchill's wartime cabinet
Obama, on the other hand, doesn't much care for the USA (he flat out hates unhyphenated Americans and "middle America"), and has no problem with policies that weaken or endanger the country. His real loyalties are to hard-left ideologies and to the "global community (particularly the Muslim parts).

Chamberlain was actually on the side of the UK and doing what he thought best. He was simply wrong, admitted it, did the best he could to make up for it, then transferred power to Churchill and died of cancer.
Obama is NOT on the side of the US and is deliberately undermining US power and influence. It would be like having a Nazi sympathizer negotiating with the Germans.
