:) It’s definitely entertaining until WD starts again.
I also think Chris is starting to get it because while they were escaping the riot crowds, remember he saw a police officer eating another officer. He tried to get his father attention but he didn’t bother with it.
I forgot about that-—you’re right.
Any predictions on who will be future walker-slaying competent bada##es?
I will guess Nick, Chris, and Daniel if he lives long enough. Madison and Travis I’m not sure about...with that “I’m never going to leave you” talk, I think one of them might bite it.
I would go for either Nick (because right now he is drugged up but no doubt he can garner strength once his body no longer needs the drugs) or Madison (Remember she was kinda of hesitant to kill Susie by the fence. I think she will be like Carol. They start off as weak but gain strength)
Yeah, that;s true about Madison. And I thought she was going to go for it anyway until Travis stopped her.
The premiere of FTWD set a new record for audience numbers for the premiere of a new Cable TV show. in fact it beat a good many New Network TV shows in several key audience numbers so rest assured there is going to be a much larger second season. Money talks and FTWD is the loudest voice in the room right now for new cable shows.
With that said if they would kill off the entire cast save for the Barber shop guy and his family and Tobias I would be say we had some real good freshman Zombie warriors to watch.
Right now Team Libtard is a mess with only Mom and Druggie Son showing any promise whatsoever. (Druggie Son figured out they needed a shotgun and went to get it even though he left the ammo behind and "Mom" figured out that she needed to hit her Zombie neighbor in the head with a hammer until she quit moving but then let her Boyfriend Travis-Lori talk her out of it.)
The EX-wife (Liza) does at least have a useful skill (Nurse or maybe EMT) and may end up being "The Carol" of the group. There is no "Rick" or "Michonne" or "Daryl" so far. Just a lot of "Lori" and "Andrea" types with Travis (Boyfriend/Fiancee of Madison A.K.A. "Mom" of Team Libtard) being the biggest loser "Lori" type yet.
Actually the best board game they could have played is called:
No more Spanish.
Sounds like something Max Brooks might have written.
Dad who’s been through war is willing and able to fight to protect his young daughter. And has a wounded wife who may or may not turn into a zombie upon death.
Another interesting story line might be the inner cities doing much better than suburbia because the gangs have no problems clearing the streets of zombies and killing potentially infected people, to protect their turf and their lives. And unlike the liberal suburbanites starring in this show, they have experience with weapons and likely large caches of them.
If you think it is dangerous, you don’t just say “stay here” and expect it to be enough unless the danger is absolutely clear, which in a world ignorant of zombies, isn’t clear.
They have too many moments where they DO NOT tell people “people are attacking and eating other people, that’s why you can’t go help the neighbor being attacked by the father” etc.
Just saying it is a sickness that makes people violent is enough, so that your daughter doesn’t run out to help the guy or the girl and tries not to make physical contact.
But they don’t even say that much until after serious near-death incidents.
Nick knows were a lot of drug dealers live / hole up. And they tend to be well armed, whether with guns or knives or what not.
He knows where the guns would likely be beyond police stations and pawn shops. Where the drugs are.
The other danger of the desert - water.
Where could they go that would have it without power to pump it?
Good point!
Unless he turns out to be a Morgan Jr.
Just an FYI...
Ah ... good point.
