Isn’t there an island we can just dump them on?

I suggest the Territory of Heard Island and McDonald Islands -- an Australian external territory and volcanic group of barren Antarctic islands, about two-thirds of the way from Madagascar to Antarctica.

The group's overall size is 144 square miles in area and it has 63 miles of coastline. The islands are among the most remote places on Earth: They are located approximately 2,600 mils southeast of South Africa and 1,010 miles north of Antarctica. The islands are currently uninhabited.

Drop them off with 50 years of supplies for one person, and a case of switch blades. Then let them do the math.

From the air, two-three hundred yards off shore. No sense wasting a good chute.
