Foyle's War is a great show! I am sorry there were not more episodes. Kitchen is perfect in that role!

Inspector Lewis is a great one too.....might I suggest you try to find these on PBS? They are on every now and then. We DVR almost every "Masterpiece" show as they cover "Inspector Lewis" and shows like "Shetland" and such. Those are great shows!

Let me mention another show which I think is one of the smartest shows coming off BBC...."Sherlock". It is smartly written and witty. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.....both are excellent! They move the old Sherlock into current day - for instance Freeman plays Watson and he has come back from serving in Afghanistan. If you can get it from NetFlix or even DVR it as it is showing on PBS right now, you will not be sorry. It is a great show and I hate that I have seen every episode!
Oh and let me throw and American show in - if you have not seen "Blacklist", I highly recommend that one.

I’ve watched all those shows except Shetland. I lost interest in Blacklist because Red just pulled to many rabbits out of a hat too easily, and the female lead is annoying. The one with Pee Wee Herman was funny, though.
