Dear Jane,
I’ve been in such a state of perpetual turmoil ever since giving birth. My child, pronoun “they”, is now 3-years-old. I have been mired in a heinous state of chronic depression because “they” do not want to play with girl’s toys. It destroys me that “they” might be another white CIS male, and another future agent of the patriarchy. That’s just not the type of lifestyle I can support or agree with. “Their” father has also been deeply despondent over our child’s reluctance to conform to our stance and ideals on gender. My husband identifies as gender neutral, and whenever “Xe” (my husbands current pronoun) witnesses our child playing with toy trucks and trains, it triggers “Xer” so hard that “Xe” crumbles into a quivering pile of inconsolable PTSD jitters.
My question is, how can I persuade my child to blossom into the fabulous transgender individual that I know in my heart “they” truly are? All I’ve ever wanted was a trans child, and the fact that “they” seem so drawn to boys toys and refuse to don the lovely dresses I so painstakingly choose for “them” just crushes my soul. What can I do to make “them” understand the harm that they inflict on our family through their identity as a CIS-gendered white male? Please Jane, help us, it’s tearing our family apart.

It is. Badly written satire, but satire indeed.
Dear Parents: Go to your Safe Space before my Trigger Alert and hug your Teddy Bear.
If this is real it should be the end of satire.
If it’s satire, hats off to the satirist.
If CPS had any value other than riding herd on deadbeat dads, they would snatch this child out of this unsupportive, unhealthy environment. I thing “They” or HE, the little BOY would like that very much. Unbelieveable! Baffled and flummoxed that the MALE child is not buying into their makebelieve invisible world.
I can’t find any proof that it is satire.
What do you base your contention on?

So now I hear that this is unlabled satire. (SLow Clap & Eye Roll).
Even if this is satire, I can’t laugh at it. It is too close to what our world has become. It’s difficult to read this and not begin to cry.

I remember in my teens traveling downtown to the more seedy parts of Seattle and wandering amongst the juicers and junkies. It was quite an eye-opener. There were all sorts of lowlifes scurrying about, but none that compare to what the left has set loose upon America.
I don’t recognize my country anymore.
I do not know, but I suspect, that soon this author will run a letter about “How Can I Convince My 3-Year-Old They’re NOT Transgender?”
Then she will say that anyone who condemned the parent in the first letter but doesn’t condemn the parent in the second letter must be a horrible hypocrite.
That’s my two cents, anyway.
What does it say about society if we can’t be certain it’s satire?
30 seconds on tumblr would indicate this is true and not satirical.
