Between those two I manage to realize how despicable I am in the sight of God and thank the Lord for Jesus Christ my Savior.

Yet I feel the guilt of my sins requiring his sacrifice none the less. I know I’m saved, and that I sin still bears upon my soul a burden I wish I did not have to carry. Everything you said in that post I agree with. Still, you should not see yourself as despicable, but as He sees you, an imperfect yet beloved child.

And yes, of course, we should all be in awe with the gratitude of what he has given us, just with His creation and our present life, and then on top of that, the chance for (unearned) eternal life!
