Yep that gets me too. The Talosians were so brilliant and had such highly developed powers. But she explained that she was misshapen because the Talosians had never seen a human before and didn’t know how to put her back together. But then the Talosians were themselves humanoid. So they were similar to humans even if not human themselves.

Oh well we can nitpick about minor details can’t we????

Yeah, it made no sense. I could see her skin not healing properly. They had to make it worse to get the most mileage out of the plot but it was just illogical.

And then, it all fits when they return the first captain to the planet. Of course, they left out how the captain had the illusion of getting out of that device, which was more than just appearance.

Oh well. I could mention that the space shuttle was in various proportions to NCC-1701.

But still, TOS is my favorite because it’s the original. And I love it when the boulders bounce off of people, lol.
