Years ago, I worked in IT for a large clothing designer in NYC. It was populated completely by small, foul tempered, Asian women, and even fouler-tempered gay men.

Simply put, it was the most political, nastiest, most hateful working environment that I've ever been in. No violence, just constant catty sniping, 12-14 hours a day. It was like being with 50 people who were all auditioning for the part of "The Rude One" on a reality TV series.

Methinks, perhaps, that LGBTQRST people need to remember that when they point a finger at someone, three more are pointing back at themselves. I dunno about mental issues, I'd call it "Liberal Projection", namely, they can't stand themselves or others like themselves, so they assume everyone else feels the same way.

And, FWIW, The folks in the office mostly ignored me. Thought that I was a backwoods hick, until I saved them 10s of thousands of dollars by revamping some of their discarded computer equipment. All of a sudden, then, I was "OK, for someone who's not one of us". Approximately.

Your “Liberal Projection” is an incredibly accurate descriptor.
