Long-term survivors tend to be practical and methodical and learn quick how to function to survive... waffles don’t makes it long
LOL
The Walking Dead actually had gun control as a major THEME for the entire, I believe, second season, whenever they were all holed up at the farmhouse. All the guns were kept locked away, and it was a constant battle episode after episode about whether people should have access to them. I know people’s memories are short, but damn. Or maybe you never actually watched the show?
Fear the Walking Dead has only had 4 episodes so far, but the dad, after seeing the dead walk and eat people already, sees his son being shown how to use a shotgun and says “Hey, you know how I feel about guns!”
The Hollywood propaganda machine was tailor-made for people like you - not only do you not recognize messages pumped into your brain, but you DEFEND the brainwasher, because for some reason, your own ego is bruised if a show you like is criticized. I assume the thinking is something like this: “This show can’t be bad - I like it, and if a show I like is bad, then I must be bad.”

Im ready for something catastrophic to happen here...maybe something like that would really ramp things up.
I think it might be a swarm of zombies attacking the military.
Exactly!
Absolutely agree. I gave it 3 episodes....just can’t get into it. At the very least, it’s terribly miscast, IMHO.
Netflix started streaming season five today.
No. The guns were running around just fine in season 2, Hershel didn’t want them shooting a lot of stuff on the property but remember A - he thought there could be a cure, and B - guns are loud and it had already been established that making a lot of noise where you’re living brings zombies (remember the car alarm).
Yes, the dad is anti-gun. There are people that are anti-gun, that’s perfectly natural and normal. Doesn’t mean he’s right. We know in the world of TWD familiarity with guns is a good thing, and we’ve seen the dad get close to dying a few times because he doesn’t grasp the situation.
During the run of TWD I’ve more than doubled the number of guns I own. If their propaganda machine is pumping some sort of gun related message into my brain it would appear to be PRO not anti. I’m pointing out simple reality there is no anti-gun message in TWD. It presents guns as tools, tools some people don’t like, but in the end they learn they need them. Shows I like very much can be bad, and there are certainly valid complaints to be had with TWD, but an anti-gun message is not one of them because there simply is not one.
Honestly, I don’t think you are supposed to like them yet. I believe the writers are easing us into the crisis. We would all like to think we could take charge and wade into the enemy. But, when you think about it, there has to be a period where you transform from “demanding your rights” and “fighting for them.”
Even the most independent of us would stumble a bit during this transitory time.
All of that said...I could enjoy seeing the drug addled kid get eaten.
I love Z Nation. Partially because it pays no regard to a lack of ammo. They don’t pick it up, they don’t make it...it just appears like they top it off at the start of the episode.
The record number of people watching TWD on a weekly basis would disagree........
Don't get me wrong bro, it's not often that us fans of TWD get to be schooled by actual survivors of fantasy induced shows such as TWD.
Just curious, have you written to the writers of TWD and offered your expertise in ZA's to help them with their script writing?
You seem to have all the answers............
I like Z nation because there is humor in their world.
One of the things that bug me about Walking Dead is the utter lack of humor. Even in that kind of world people would still find things to laugh at. Merle provided some pretty good gallows humor but he’s long gone.
As a side note, if TWD were filled with smart people like you doing smart things, the show would have ended after the first season..............
I Love you arm chair quarterbacks.......LOL!
Good one!!!!!
Have you even been watching Fear the Walking Dead at all??????
I’m going to pass on “Quantico”.
The promos this summer showed two pajama boy homosexual FBI recruits kissing each other on the lips; another guy ogling another guy who was wearing only a towel, and young female recruits who look either like Miss America contestants or muzzies.
First series i am wishing for all the main characters to be killed off. Then we can satch as they join up with increasing zombie herds and se what adventures the herd gets into. Maybe zombies in las vegas...
Its asinine to still think guns are bad when the world actually falls apart. Even lib friends of Chuck Heston called him up and asked if they could borrow some guns from him when the la riots occurred.
The zombie stripper walking around the pole in response to music was a funny moment.
