The last “shutdown” resonated in the 2014 Pubbie victory (one they squandered BTW).
The public could care less about a shutdown; in fact as things stand today I think the public would welcome one to get fedzilla off our back for a couple weeks.
Nope last polling showed a whopping 80% of voters blamed the Republicans. Even Mike Lee was backpedaling. And you know all these fed workers are still going to get paid. It’s a free vacation delivered by the Republicans.
