He is backed up on this record by Huey “Piano” Smith, famous for his own hits like “Rockin’ Pneumonia & the Boogie Woogie Flu” and “Don’t You Just Know It”. The piano riff is a New Orleans-style variation on “Pinetop’s Boogie Woogie”, the original boogie woogie record from the 1920s.
“Roberta” was on the flip side of “Sea Cruise,” and I think it was the better recording.
