You’re correct. And, since those same Muslims are providing much of the financing for Hamas, Hezbollah etc. they self monitor to keep the heat off them.
They’ve also got a LOT of middle eastern Christians among them who can easily pass for muslim who act as informants.
The locals largely don’t want the trouble in Dearborn. The town is fairly prosperous and they don’t want to lose that prosperity.
