Now she can go on Disability and we can all pay for her lunacy.
Right now, the novelty of this decision and experience is enjoyable to her, or perhaps she is just rationalizing.
The thing is, blindness is a multifaceted handicap; it isn’t just not being able to see. No one who is reading this post with their eyes can truly understand what I am talking about, but those who have a loved one who is blind know this is so. My heart breaks for this foolish young woman.
This girl does not yet understand what she has done to herself, but in time she will find out. And in time, when she realizes she cannot go back, that blindness goes on and on and on and on, she will be devastated.
I agree that if this was a licensed psychologist, this person should lose his license at the very minimum, for malpractice, and for practicing medicine without a license. And, the federal and state govts should sue that person for the cost to the state of this girl’s lifelong care.
