Daily Mail insists he was a conservative Republican, but the LiveLeaker posted a screengrab showing Mercer was registered with Oregon's Independent Party.

The only people who will believe he was conservative are people who want to believe it.

All the misinformation regarding this guy, even after 6 hours officials and the media had to scour his background, is proof that the delay in reporting was so the media & government could cobble together a fictitious profile more amenable to the left wing narrative.

The Independent Party website:

http://www.indparty.com/

Note their agenda.

And there is this from Wikipedia:

In 2008, “The IPO ran eight of its own candidates and cross-nominated four major party candidates in the 2008 election, including Democrats Jeff Merkley and Ben Westlund”

In 2010, “The IPO became the first political party in the United States to conduct a binding statewide Primary Election entirely over the internet.[20] 86 candidates participated in the election. Former Governor John Kitzhaber, a Democrat, won the party’s nomination in a three-person race.”

Yeah, sounds really conservative to me.

A conservative who executes Christians? I don't think so.
This guy was a jihadist wannabe.

I have no idea if this is true, but I will post the gist of a few comments that I saw on a thread last night. FWIW:

Some posters were suggesting that this guy had an account on a dating site. The account had a description of him as a “conservative Republican”, but one poster noted that the shooter’s account had been subjected to some changes after he had already been killed. Someone suggested that hackers from 4chan were responsible for the changes.

He’s not in the GOP. But who would be surprised? The GOP establishment HATES Christians as much as their friends across the aisle.

They have not lifted a finger to protest the genocide of Christians in the Middle East and they won’t even stop funding Planned Parenthood even after the tapes surfaced showing them mutilating the babies and selling off their body parts. They have not protected Christian religious freedom from Obama’s government nor from queers who live to harrass and harm Christians who will not go along with homosexual doctrines and ceremonies.
